Featured Artist: Brittany Shatley

Please join us in showing some love to our featured artist this week, Brittany Shatley! Brittany combines white line-work with colorful and vibrant watercolor washes to create beautiful abstract artwork. She joined The Residency only a few short months ago, and we are really impressed with her progress so far!

Brittany's website is very fitting for artwork. While still keeping the solid white background, she is able to incorporate some accent colors here and there that coordinate with the color palette she uses in her art. This is a great example of a way to keep your brand consistent! She is building trust and validity with her collectors by sticking to a single color palette throughout each platform. 

This also ties into her Instagram feed. The images Brittany posts in her feed complement each other well. She uses just the right amount of white space, a combination of close ups and finished pieces, and adds a bit of herself in as well. All of these components add up to great trust and brand recognition for her collectors!
